You can also find some great movie theaters and comedy centers in Ohio as well. 
While Ohio is a somewhat small state, the city of Columbus seems big when driving through it to visit different areas of the city. Famous for the Columbus Crew team, the Ohio State Buckeyes stadium, and a diverse city with funky festivals, Columbus, Ohio is America’s 15th largest city. A city full of die-hard sports fans, an old gorilla, and lots of delectable spots to dine at, Columbus truly has become a famous city in the Midwest. Furthermore, it is estimated that around forty-eight percent of all Americans in the country of the United States of America actually live within 600 miles of the great city of Columbus. Several Major cities like Atlanta, New York, and Chicago are less than a days’ worth of driving away too.
In 1810, the Buckeye State’s general assembly had voted in choosing a new, permanent capital. Eventually, the lawmakers had agreed that whichever locale that had chosen to pick would have to be within 40 miles of the state of Ohio’s geographic center. As the story goes, four professional businessmen from the town of Franklinton had suggested 20 free acres of land. So, on February 14, 1812, this land was then picked as the official site of Ohio’s current state capital. It would then be in 1816, that beauhtiful Columbus, Ohio would soon be officially incorporated. Some of the most famous Columbusites include R.L. Stine, celebrity chef Guy Fieri, Bizzy Bone, Alana De La Garza, and Philip Michael Thomas are only several of the famous actors, gymnasts, and chefs that we see originating from the great state of Ohio. Let’s not forget how much of an incubator Columbus is for the fast-food empires too. Interestingly enough, Wendy’s opened their very first restaurant on East Broad Street in November 1969. Now, the famous restaurant franchise is officially headquartered in Dublin, Ohio, a small suburb of the city of Columbus.

Created initially in 1878 as the official Columbus Gallery of Fine Arts, the Columbus Museum of Art was the very first art museum to actually register its charter with Ohio. The art museum finds, gathers, and exhibits both European and American modern and contemporary art, glass art, folk art, and photography. It has also been carefully led by Executive Director Nanette Maciejunes ever since 2003. The art museum is great for families, school groups, teachers, kids, and workgroups alike.
